I work as an instructor and Gap Mentor for New Generation Verbier
Ally has spent the last 5 season teaching in Verbier as he finished his BASI qualifications through New Generation’s work and train programme. Having passed his full BASi 4 ISTD Ally is now an instructor and gap mentor in Verbier – passing on everything he has learnt to the next generation of ski instructors coming through the system.
I originally grew up snowboarding from a young age as it seemed like the logical transition from surfing, but I tried a friends set of ski one time on a ski holiday at Thredbo and I was intrigued. Although it was later whilst studying that I spent time guiding ski touring expeditions in the Australian Snowy Mountains that my passion for the skiing and the mountains was solidified.
Becoming a ski instructor may seem a daunting task and the variety of courses available certainly does not make it any easier, but here at New Generation we have over 10 years experience of running ski instructor training courses and during that time we have come across most situations, problems and variables.
We are available 7 days a week and will be able to guide you through all steps of the BASI system, at every level. So contact us today and find out more.
Note: If you contact us regarding a specific course we can also send you a full brochure, so don’t forget to enter your address details.
