Our St Anton Coaches
Our coaches are handpicked from our teams across the Alps to reach your potential, cement your love for the sport and show you the best terrain on the mountain. All of our coaches are picked from different governing bodies, meaning you will get a feel for multiple ski organisations, making you a more rounded skier. They also know precisely what you have to do when the exams roll around. During the course, you will become versatile all-mountain skiers capable of tackling anything the mountain throws at you. Your training will develop your skiing in all areas from Piste Performance to freestyle, building your technical understanding and honing your teaching skills.
Whatever your goal, this program provides the best way to advance your skiing and continue your progression. With all the training, kit and support you need to become one of the world’s best instructors or take your riding to a level that will make others envious.
We work closely with Stefan, our resort manager in St Anton and Kasper and Mads from SkiLab.dk.

Book Your Course
*To ski off-piste safely, you must carry a transceiver shovel and probe. We will take you off-piste during your course and highly recommend that all students purchase their own safety equipment. If you don’t purchase avalanche safety equipment you will need to hire it for the off-piste days.

The St Anton Work and Train Level 4 (Diplomskilehrer) programme is one of, if not the most sought-after course. We are delighted to be going into another season of our instructor training programme with our continuous commitment to safe training through the pandemic.
St Anton is the perfect training ground due to the pristine pistes for performance and huge backcountry terrain to explore, whilst working towards the European Mountain Safety.
Essential information
Living
As with all ski resorts, accommodation is hard to find in St Anton. We advise that you budget carefully for your accommodation and make sure you understand the full costs involved before committing. We can provide you with any accommodation leads we have, but it will ultimately be your responsibility to find yourself a home.
Sharing generally helps to keep costs lower and we would be happy to circulate the details of other team members. There will also be a Facebook group to help with this on our internal Facebook system.
We will also assist with details of how to register yourself and your accommodation with the local authorities upon arrival.
Food
There are many supermarkets in and around St Anton which offer a wide range of foods, including sandwiches and other takeaway food for a quick and cheap lunch. In the resort, there are many bars and restaurants, ranging from very cheap (you can buy a burger for around €6) to very fancy (think Sushi!). You’ll be spoilt for choice, and can choose how much you spend.
As the lift pass is not part of the training package you will have to buy the season lift pass, which will be approximately 900€.
Travel
During the day there are many free buses that regularly go to and from all towns around the resort (St. Anton, St. Christoph, St. Jakob, Pettneu, Schnann, Flirsch, Strengen). After 6 pm buses are generally €2.90 and run all evening.
Work
If you would like to work in St Anton, you must obtain a work permit before arriving in Austria. Send us a message if you’d like more information on how to go about this process.
Our busiest weeks are Christmas, New Years, February Half Term and Easter, so you will mainly working during these times. Outside of the peak weeks, you will be available for work when not training.
If you wish to work in other roles during the course, this is also possible if you have the work permit we suggested above. Bar work and cleaning are not the most glamorous jobs but pay well and usually fit with the course schedule.
Note: Before applying, students must have completed the BASI Level 2 qualification and successfully applied to have their qualification recognised in the Tirol region.
FAQ’s
We’ve got the answers

We recommend that you fly into Geneva Airport.
How do you get from Geneva Airport to Courchevel?
We will organise Transfers for you. We group students based on arrival times, so you may have a short wait at the airport.
Does the course include a ski pass?
Yes, your lift pass is included in the cost of your course for those of you who are less than 30 years old. If you are older than 30, there is a small supplement to pay as your Lyft pass is considerably more expensive. Please add this as an optional extra at checkout.

Will you get a job after the course?
Possibly, every student has the opportunity to interview to join our instructor team. In order to be offered a job, you need to be successful in the interview, have successfully passed your BASI Level 2 and have the right to work in Switzerland. Successful candidates will definitely get work in the peak weeks, Christmas, Half-Term and Easter.
What Qualifications do our coaches have?
